We are looking for a Deputy Site Manager to support our off-&nearshore windfarms in the Netherlands and Belgium.
About the role
You will coordinate all persons on site and manage the distribution of tasks in the team and keep an overview of these tasks. You will ensure compliance with HSE standards according to Siemens Gamesa and local requirements and provide active safety leadership within the site team, ensure correct reporting and follow-up of incidents or unsafe acts and conditions. Besides you will ensure that appropriate resources are available to achieve site performance targets within budget. You will maintain service and retrofit KPI's and ensure all tasks are being completed within relevant timescales, and maintain and develop good working relationships with customer organization(s) and escalate issues to the site manager when appropriate. Besides you will be the technical contact person for the customer and communicate progress of the overall planning and technical retrofits towards the customer. You will ensure that the necessary infrastructure on site is available and processes are optimized. You will assist in the production and publication of accurate site reports for both internal and external stakeholders and assist in the creation of the site delivery plan.

• Supports Operations Manager in daily business, most importantly on all aspects of creating a proactive safety culture and clarifying customer requirements. Deputize in case of absence.
• Collaborate with Site to solve operational topics and escalate where necessary
• Coordinates resources and monitors and reports progress and milestones regularly to all stakeholders.
• Maximize customer benefit of services provided while at the same time having a strong focus on financial success of SGRE. Create situations of mutual benefit for all parties involved
• Responsible for meeting all project milestones and technical objectives
• Support of relevant EHS processes and measurements
• Support of Site Management in GRT so that incentive/LD discussion with customer can be done in due time
• Customer communication in the area of responsibility
• Follow up on technical topics where needed. Make contact to engineering to feedback site experience
• Liaise and negotiate with 3rd parties on contracts, organization of work and administration of logistics
• Supports pre-and/or post sales technical product advice for development, implementation and operation of customer solutions
• Ensures proper documentation of project results, and of all products or technologies delivered.
About you
You have relevant experience in the offshore wind industry preferably with a technical background. You are independent, structured and have people management skills. You have a result-based approach as well as team spirit and a high degree of flexibility, loyalty and reliability. You are punctual and respect the procedures, rules and instructions. You give high priority to safety and you are a role model for others when it comes to safety. You have good computer knowledge (e.g. MS Office, SAP), administrative skills, meticulousness and sense of order. Knowledge of both Dutch and English (both spoken and written) is preferable.
