At Eni, we are looking for an Accounting & Taxation Manager within Eni SpA in Brussels. Reporting to the Branch Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing all finance aspects of activities deployed across the Benelux region, including: accounting, taxation, credit, running and collection, planning, forecasting and treasury. You will be managing two to three direct reports. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will have a strong level of Dutch, French and English.

As a member of the Finance function, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the periodical closing of accounts, from the definition of the planning up to the approval and transmission of the consolidation package to Head Office;

• Monitoring the evolution of relevant accounting and taxation regulations;

• Ensuring conformity with BGAAP and IFRS norms (for the latter in cooperation with specialised teams located at Head Office);

• Drafting internal and external accounting and taxation reports, in addition to other finance-related reports for local authorities;

• Managing corporate income tax, VAT and other taxes (including filing, prepayments, inspections);

• Managing the fiscal affairs of Eni's French Branch;

• Maintaining internal controls within the accounting processes to ensure compliance with SOX;

• Accounts payable (including managing the implementation of e-invoices within AP);

• Managing the recharge of services performed by the Belgian branch towards other entities of the Eni group;

• Planning and forecasting OPEX.

This is the opportunity for you if you have the following skills and experience:

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics;

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar position;

• Strong working knowledge of Dutch, French and English;

• Strong numerical and data management skills;

• Proficient with MS-Office suite, experience with SAP would be an advantage;

• Strong people-management skills with a service mindset;

• Excellent organizational skills, work with a high level of accuracy, proactive.
