Senior Planner, Stavanger

 

  1. 12 month contract role
  2. Urgent start date
  3. Must be eligible to live and work in Norway
  4. Min 3-5 years experience in subsea project planning

 

 

Leap29 are currently looking for a Senior Planner to work for a leading subsea installation client of ours, based in their Stavanger HQ. The Senior Planner must have experience in the subsea installation discipline; specifically projects involving flexible risers and flowlines. The role will allow the applicant to be an integral part of marquee subsea installation contracts on the Norwegian continental shelf.

 

Whilst challenging, the client is highly rewarding to work with from both an environment / culture perspective, and from a scope of work point of view also. The client has an impressive order book with regards to 2024 - 2025 projects, and so will be in a position to offer the longer-term contract role with a great scope of extension.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  1. Create and maintain project/tender plan, ensure identi?cation of long lead /critical items
  2. Coordination with the various operations and support units, to ensure timely and accurate cost data is available for preparation of cost reports.
  3. Preparation of cost report updates and report generation for review by Management
  4. Perform project progress monitoring duties, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts, with progress achieved to date.
  5. Ensure contractors provide resource loaded schedules at determined intervals, to make sure service is being completed on time and within budget.
  6. Support the use/integration of project and contract management systems, into the daily operation of the business.
  7. Work closely with the internal Document System (DS) to ensure that there is an integrated system between the DS and planning functions in projects so that progress is tracked.
  8. Receive and analyse Daily Progress Reports during offshore execution

 

Qualifications

 

  1. Educated to College or University degree level in a relevant field
  2. Demonstrates knowledge of the market and competitors (SURF industry) in order to align work with strategic goals.
  3. 3 - 5years previous experience in a related field or area.
  4. Experience in Microsoft Project
  5. Experience from making detailed offshore schedules
  6. Safran experience also required
