Petroplan is recruiting for multiple Board Operators on behalf of a US-Based LNG company.
The primary responsibility of the Board Operator ISBL is to ensure safe and efficient operation of all Distributed Control System (DCS) sections within the ISBL area of the facility, adhering to operational and integrity limits outlined in the Master Alarm Data Base (MADB).
Job Duties Include: - Follow schedules for plant startup and shutdown, considering maintenance, equipment availability, and safety.
- Review and recommend improvements to operational procedures, including startup, maintenance, and safe operating guidelines.
- Continuously monitor ISBL plant operations via the DCS to identify potential improvements, risks, or equipment issues and address them promptly.
- Coordinate operational activities with third-party vendors for the delivery of power, feed gas, and LNG/condensate loading.
- Collaborate closely with ISBL operators, providing guidance during critical tasks, and maintaining strong communication with other Board Operators to ensure seamless operation of the entire facility.
- Ensure day-to-day compliance with production safety protocols and proactively monitor equipment health, communicating issues or concerns to Control Room Supervisors.
- Perform approved process and equipment adjustments within design parameters to address potential production losses or optimize plant performance. Escalate to supervisors when necessary.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams for diagnosing and troubleshooting process or maintenance issues, while incorporating lessons learned.
- Create and review work orders, providing input where needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to manage alarms and optimize processes.
Requirements: - 2 years of board operator experience at a large-scale LNG facility using APCI-C3/MR technology
- 5 years of production operations experience with APCI-C3/MR technology
- Experience in control room operations during startup and commissioning phases of a large-scale LNG facility
- Ability to interact regularly with various internal and external stakeholders, including maintenance teams, engineers, safety specialists, contractors, and vendors.
- Ability to work on a rotating 12-hour shift system, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Extended hours may be required during plant commissioning, start-up, shutdown, or turnaround activities in accordance with fatigue management procedures.
