Primary Purpose of Job
• Devise equipment strategies for failure prevention for E&I assets implying modern techniques as Failure Mode Effect Analysis or RCM method. • Perform comprehensive equipment failure investigations in cross functional team settings, RCA reporting and LFI's. • Management of Safety Critical Elements in operating environment. • Collaborates with OAO(M) Optimization engineers in conducting maintenance strategy, PM Optimization studies, risk spares optimization, and criticality analysis for operational assets. Additionally, participates in HAZOP/HAZID/SIL study workshops for projects and plant modifications, and provides technical assistance to develop department strategies, policies, budgets, and programs.
Education
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering OR Instrumentation & Controls OR Electronic Engineering.
Experience & Skills
o Minimum 15 Years of Experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry leading up to experienced Reliability Engineer role fully abreast of Reliability Assurance processes & principals.
o Hands on Experience and knowledge in all the Reliability approaches required to determine optimum maintenance strategies.
o Excellent experience and knowledge in assets performance management systems and Maintenance strategies design. o Deep experience and knowledge about NGL plants processes with good experience in improving systems uptime and plant availability.
o Hands on Experience & excellent knowledge in Reliability techniques and tools that includes:
• FCA / ECA (Functional Criticality Analysis / Equipment Criticality Analysis)
• FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis)
• RCM (Reliability Centred Maintenance)
• RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis)
• PM optimization
• RAM analysis, reliability modelling & simulations
• Preferred to have an international Reliability Certification
• Appropriate expertise in using computer features to perform reliability studies/analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
