OverviewWe are looking for DCS Engineer to join Hawiyah Gas Plant Department.
HGP was brought on stream in September 2001 as the first gas plant in Saudi Aramco that processed only non-associated gas. HGP current processing capacity is 2.5 BSCFD of feed gas and 240 MBD of Hydrocarbon condensate. HGP receives sour and sweet feed gas through two gas manifolds, Hawiyah and Haradh that have more than 200 wells connected to them from Hawiyah.
We are seeking for control system and instrumentation to work within HGP control system and instrumentation group. The engineer will work with engineering disciplines to enhance and resolve process control and instrumentation activities. Additionally, the engineer is expected to participate in the organization initiatives including but not limited to safety program, innovation programs, operation excellence, knowledge sharing, self-development and others programs as required.
The engineer should have a full knowledge involved with advanced Gas Processing control and adequate technical skills to provide engineering analysis, design and control of assigned projects. The Engineer shall check the system performance to ensure it is running up to its design and implement any modification or system enhancement
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be expected be able to perform the following:
- Provide control system and instrumentation related technical support in Process control system activities, troubleshooting and recommend corrective actions to ensure having safely and reliably operate the facilities.
- Design, commission, test, configure, enhance and resolve Process control and instrumentation activities.
- Ensure security compliance of Process control and instrumentation activities. Additionally, analyzing relevant process data various control system for any process upsets investigation.
- Participate in any initiatives and studies includes but not limited to HAZOP, SIL Study, RCA analysis, innovation programs, operation excellence, knowledge sharing, self-development and others programs as required.
- Work with various vendors as needed to install, upgrade, update or implement new technologies for plant control and automation systems and instrumentation.
- Develop function and design specification for control system and instrumentation
- Review and validate vendors design documentations at all stage of assigned projects.
Minimum RequirementsAs a successful candidate you should have a BS in related engineering discipline to control system and instrumentation in relevant gas processing operation facilities in Oil/Gas Industry with (15) years of experience. You should have a recent experience with DCS and ESD (Yokogawa CentumVP / ProSafe-RS), Bentley Nevada VMS, compressor Controller (CCS), Turbine Control System (TCS) and control system security. You should have excellent experience and knowledge in designing and updating/upgrading control system and strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
