The M&A team works the full spectrum of the deal lifecycle from pre-deal technology due-diligence and synergy reviews, through 'Day-1' planning to post-close integrations/separations for acquisitions/divestitures and from deal-preparedness, TSA negotiation to TSA management during divestiture. The Team is also responsible for DT support for Baker Hughes New Frontiers.

This is a critical role in the evolution of our DT M&A practice. In this role you will contribute to set the foundation of our Energy Transition journey. You will ensure the delivery of Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures (M&AD) deals in coordination with our Business Development lead. You will collaborate with our Digital Technology organization and contribute to define practices and methodology within the wider M&AD center of excellence. In this role you will have to exercise the soft-skills of being an influencer within the team and where needed the ability to drive the extended team to deliver on-time DT M&A projects. This role will also have to standardize and manage overall project documentation and methodologies across active projects. You will be accountable for the overall deal life-cycle aligning deal strategy to various internal Digital Technology teams priorities and driving deal integration/separation execution activities.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Managing merger, acquisition, divestiture, and joint venture (M&A) pre-deal close & execution activities, including all integration and separation activities, digital technology Transition Service Agreement (TSA) definition & management, including TSA exit strategies and timing
  • Evolving the overall Digital Technology service catalog, rate cards, due diligence questionnaire and M&A Task lists
  • Contributing technical expertise towards the development of M&A strategic plans and roadmaps that are aligned to business strategies and requirements
  • Assisting in the maintenance of M&A playbooks based on company standards, procedures, and best-practices
  • Ensuring successful end-to-end delivery of projects through client engagement, partnering with technical teams and coordination of all required activities and milestones.
  • Taking ownership for project prioritization, definition and compliance to ensure adherence with project management methodologies
  • Performing regular tracking and reporting on progress, and accountable for initiative results verification.
  • Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems, processes or templates to simplify and improve deal planning and execution activities
  • Communicating and presenting recommendations, project plans and technical road-maps to senior business leaders, customers and stakeholders
  • Applying technical knowledge and skilled experience to ensure all projects and programs are of the highest quality
  • Collaborating and communicating across cross-functional teams to track the design process and deliver projects on time

 


Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Program Management.
  • Have significant experience in Program Management and end-to-end project delivery, coordinating with all needed DT functions/Domains
  • Have strong technology skills covering knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services with an ability to participate review processes as needed
  • Understanding of broader Enterprise/solution architecture.
  • Have significant experience driving M&AD deals from due diligence, planning through execution phases
  • Have the ability to develop and maintain a live, standard master project plan for acquisitions & divestitures that addresses 80% common tasks
  • Be able to leverage master project integration & divestiture project plans to develop tailored plans per deal along with assigned PMs
  • Be responsible for managing project financials and tracking projects to budget
  • Have ability to analyze and resolve problems through innovation and creative solutions
  • Be a natural communicator, with an ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Be a motivated self-starter that promotes teamwork and collaboration in a cross-functional environment.
