What is the Role?

We have ambitious growth plans in the Chemicals GTL segment, and we look for a keen, driven, and curious Commercial & Customer Operations Specialist to join us on this growth journey. We are looking for "go getter" with the right amount of "can do attitude" to join a young, dynamic team. The primary focus of this role will be to help organize the growth of the GTL portfolio in Shell Chemicals.
  • Pro-actively monitor contracts and customers opportunities within the product portfolio, to understand how the customer is performing, where opportunities exist.
  • Collaborate with Commercial in reaching out and engaging customers for their requirements.
  • Proactively promote and explain the CVP to customers.
  • Share with customers pre-agreed or standard offers.
  • Preparing the documentation (contract) - according to accepted offer.
  • Collect customer signatures and necessary documents (including the prolongation of existing contracts)
  • Support in hyper-care and periodic checks for new and existing customers.
  • Understanding customers growth plans, new destinations or business areas in order to propose additional products or services
  • Active management of our GSAP system, tagging opportunities, insert commercial changes, update customer details
  • Provide regular feedback to our Commercial team regarding customer issues and possible competitor activities
  • Churn - proactive contact management on customers with declining volumes or with customers that are not meting contracted and forecasted volumes.
  • Support in payment and debt collection.


What We Need from You?
  • Understanding of the Shell Chemicals Business, including existing CVPs, GTL Portfolios, key benefits, features and best practices.
  • Ability to convey and present CVP features as value for the customers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, getting their trust and ability to build working relationship.

  • Ability to analyse big data with superior Excel skills.
