Performs or provides guidance on design risk management activities. Develops reliability models, specifications and test programs appropriate to the product or service under consideration. Develops methodology for reliability analysis and reporting plans. Organizes training courses and develops training plan and curriculum. Performs data analysis and recommends reliability improvements based on the analysis. Develops reliability centered maintenance for equipment and implementation plan. Skills are acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering and 7 years of related experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Under general supervision, applies reliability engineering principles to support new product development and design-for-reliability (DfR) practices.
  • Develops reliability program plan and applies DfR techniques by working closely with project teams.
  • Recommends design and process improvements based on test results for product reliability improvement.
  • Responsible for developing reliability tests for design verification and life prediction of new product designs.
  • Responsible for performing data analysis and monitoring failure reporting database.
  • Reviews concerned test incidents and service quality issues to generate lessons learned.
  • Utilizes project management skills to execute and manage projects. Understands and promotes organization's quality directives.


Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering discipline and 6 years of reliability engineering experience is desirable.
  • Master's in reliability engineering or ASQ certified reliability engineer is preferred.
  • Working experience in O&G service industry is preferred.
  • Experience in coordination and facilitation of reliability analysis such as failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), root cause failure analysis (RCFA) etc. is preferred.
  • Ability to lead DfR program for new product development.
  • Proficiently performs statistical data analysis (regression analysis, ANOVA etc.)
  • Experience in statistical and reliability software's (JMP, Minitab, ReliaSoft etc.)
  • Proven understanding of 6 sigma tools (design of experiments, quality function deployment, fault tree analysis etc.)
  • Contribute to innovation by development and application of reliability techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
