At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Trader within EGEM in Brussels, Belgium. You will be responsible for responsible for overseeing all the gas trading activity of ENI across the Northern European region.

As a member of the trading team at EGEM you will be responsible for :
• Analysing fundamental and technical market conditions
• Devising and implementing profitable trading strategies
• Pricing, hedging, and managing internal and external client flow
• Pricing, acquiring, and optimizing physical and virtual assets
• Find and explore ways to improve the existing trading strategies
• Understanding and communicating risks being taken
• Dedicating time to innovation and new opportunities
• Sharing information / intelligence within the team and with other departments
• Coaching and educating colleagues, including those on other teams
• Cultivating a reputation as a valued team player
• Generating and maintaining supply and demand balances for natural gas on country level
• Proactively investigate and gather information from numerous internal and external sources to help understand and predict market trends
• Observing and strictly complying with all regulatory guidelines
• Communicating and coordinating with other stake holders like Portfolio, Logistics, Operations, Quants, Middle and Backoffice teams
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :
• Relevant commodity trading experience is a must, gas trading experience is a strong plus
• In-depth knowledge of the European Gas Market fundamentals is a must
• In-depth knowledge of derivatives and greeks is strongly preferred
• Commodity price risk management
• Proven track record in trading
• Knowledge of the regulatory environment
• Graduate degree (science or business preferred) or relevant experience on the commodity markets
• Fluent in English, other language is a plus
• Acquaintance with ICT systems (knowledge of MS Suite; knowledge of a Risk management system is a plus; knowledge of PYTHON or similar is a plus)
