This position delivers a technical job program that maximizes our opportunity to meet the job objectives in line with the contract terms and conditions.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Work together with all disciplines and stakeholders to ensure all aspects and constraints of the application and suggested products/services has been considered
- Work with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesman to understand client's well construction or production objectives as well as the commercial terms for Baker Hughes (i.e. outcome based contract, line item contract etc.)
- Design a job program, including risk mitigation plans and contingency plans, that can meet the client's objective
- Work with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesman to ensure that any risk of meeting client's objective is communicated to the client using the appropriate channels/processes for the respective client
- Provide on demand support in accordance with product portfolio or on-call schedule for job execution
- Work on Field incidents related to product/services
- Responsible for providing sales support and product application recommendations
- Product Line specific responsibilities as applicable
- Participate in incident investigation when required, ensuring end to end, from job planning, preparation, and execution is considered to determine the incident root cause and drive appropriate corrective actions.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in technical discipline
- Demonstrate relevant competence in Completions disciplines: upper completions, lower completions, wellbore construction or wellbore intervention
- Be able to speak Azerbaijan fluently and demonstrate Advanced English

- The role requires being located in Baku, Azerbaijan. Schedule is 5/2 40 hours per week.
