Overview / Responsibilities

Working directly within the Wood Consulting Growth and Development Global Function, assist with business activities such business development administration, client events, travel coordination, Growth & Devlopment team expense tracking and assisting the Sales Enablement function.

Responsible for Buisness Devlopment and Sales support activity to ensure a best in class, consistent and timely delivery of required support material in the pursuit of new business. The role supports delivery across the Consulting Growth and Development team in Americas (President, Vice President, BD Directors, Head of Sales Enablement) and the global Consulting team as required.

Requires the ability to prioritise and execute multiple activities and tasks within a highly dynamic working environment. The individual in this role is responsible for the quality of data in the system for the respective business unit and training users as needed. Working in partnership with the Service Lines, Functions and assigned functional leads sales leaders the Growth & Devlopment Assistant will ensure the following

 

  • Ensure the business is fully supported by providing administrative assistance to the Growth & Development Americas team and local office as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes.
  • Assisting with meeting preparation, organizing meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary.
  • Format information for internal and external communication - memos, emails, presentations, reports
  • Supporting leadership with timecards, orders, organization of events, calendar management.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports for multiple leaders
  • Manage scheduling for company executive(s)
  • Maintain various records and documents for company executive(s) to include expense tracking / coordination.
  • Assist the Sales Enablement function to coordinate internal and external events as required.
  • Assist with Proposal coordination as required.
  • Attend meetings as required and take notes of discussion; prepare the initial draft of minutes and summaries.

Skills / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred


Minimum Experience:

 

 

  • Experience with proposal workflow as well as operational, financial, sales procedures
  • Must have experience in MS Microsoft Suite and be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritise, execute, and follow up in a timely manner
  • Must have excellent organisational skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills required
  • Development of local and remote relationships across wide ranging time zones
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) skills
  • Ability to work on multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining focus
