We have an exciting opportunity for a second or third year LLB student to join our Legal Team. This opportunity will provide a great insight into life as an international in-house lawyer in the oil and gas industry. You will gain valuable experience working with people across our organisation; from Operations to Finance to Human Resources, in the UK and overseas. The placement will last around 6-12 weeks and will be based at our Altens, Aberdeen location.

  • Legal research in a variety of areas; including corporate, contract and commercial law.
  • Drafting board minutes and preparing Companies House forms.
  • Assisting with the administration of contracts and purchase orders; both customer and supply chain.
  • Assisting with the preparation of legal contract summary documents for key customer contracts.
  • Supporting lawyers in the UK, Nigeria and Azerbaijan with ad hoc tasks.
