Responsibilities

This position will lead team in the migration workloads or implementations of cloud data & analytics solutions in large enterprise environments. You will develop a migration approach to move workloads from on-premises to Azure or develop new cloud-ready solutions. Document and share technical best practices and insights with the Customer and company community. Strategize, plan, and execute business development related to data & analytics opportunities. Engage with internal technology leaders and solutions experts to deliver cutting edge solutions to clients. Expand organization portfolio of solutions and professional services with a global focus.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, implement and modernize infrastructure to cloud-based solutions on the Azure platform, with a specific focus on migrating existing on-premises workloads to Azure.
  • Develop and maintain Azure-based architecture for application and services, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions that meet business requirements and project goals.
  • Monitor and optimize Azure-based application and services for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support innovation and cost management across teams for simplifying and improving systems and tools that meet customer and/or business needs.
  • Accountable for tasks related to capacity planning, performance monitoring, and generating metrics reporting.
  • Assist, implement and manage multiple projects simultaneously, including critical business initiatives and updates/upgrades to existing infrastructure. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, for addressing production issues to spearheading new initiatives.
  • Contribute to business unit growth by collaborating with stakeholders to plan upgrades, migrations, and other initiatives. You will document, develop, and review architecture and infrastructure plans and monitor progress to ensure successful implementation.

 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 8 years IT Technical experience in related IT field
  • At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure cloud administration
  • Strong knowledge of Azure IAAS, SAAS, and PAAS service offerings
  • Experience in Azure networking, security, and storage services
  • Experience with Azure automation, PowerShell scripting, and Azure Resource Manager templates
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Azure certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304) is a plus
  • All work to be performed with Cybersecurity being a primary consideration
