OceanSMART is seeking skilled Cargo / Maritime , software product manager to join our dynamic team. As SMART Product Manager, you will lead the strategy, planning, delivery and in-life optimization of the for SMART Cargo products.
SMART Cargo manages end to end liquid cargo movements and equips Nominators, shippers and receivers with a transparent, real-time view that enables the efficient completion of tasks via distribution of information to all relevant parties. Driving informed decision making by leveraging alerting, SMART Cargo provides accurate and actionable insight and a single repository for information.
The role has an active external aspect leading and managing the relationship, run users and industry forums to ensure the continued enhancement and relevance of the commercial product suite

Position Summary
Purpose
The OceanSmart Product Manager leads the strategy, planning, delivery and in-life optimization of the products; translates business strategy into product strategy; and develops, requirements and base line configurations for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and industry insight.
Responsibilities / Functions
- Define the product strategy and roadmap
- Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
- Collect, requirements from all stakeholders
- Write Product Requirements and define solution that align with OS product strategy
- Create and Maintain Baseline configurations
- Monitor, report and improve product performance
- Contribute to the marketing required to launch products
ADDITIONAL
- Manage Partner and industry body relationships,
- Attend workshops, trade shows, and seminars to keep up-to-date on changes in the industry.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities

- Reports to the Director, Maritime Digital Products,
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- 5+ Year Bulk Cargo Logistics experience Or 5+ Years Software Product Manage experience
DESIRED
- Excellent understanding of Oil FeiScheduling and Operation
- A desire to change an industry that has never desired change
- Desire to be a part of working from a small team to a major operation
- Ability to quickly learn new products, interfaces, and processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Working Conditions
This position requires travel which is characterized as follows.
- Regular customer meeting across the globe
- Regular visits to OceanSMART internal locations: Houston, London, San Diego
- Regular air travel 25 to 50%
