Our Manufacturing engineering team develop and apply latest machining technologies and apply them to the production of Centrifugal compressor components, collaborating strictly with design engineering, sourcing and Quality departments towards best in class products.

Partner with the best

The MFG engineering team work close to BH machining workshops to guarantee:
  • The development of Shop Routing, Instructions Sheets, Equipment improvement and Shop Fixture supporting Machining Area.
  • Act with Lean Six Sigma approach to improve manufacturing process capabilities.
  • Work with manufacturing engineers in other BH sites to leverage best practices, technology share and promote innovations.


As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing technical methods and operative instructions to produce CC components in FLR and support farm out activities, defining detailed steps and solving technical problems that may arise in manufacturing production.
  • Leading a continuous improvement, supporting workshop and suppliers.
  • Evaluating manufacturing processes and shaping technical projects to improve processes capabilities, quality, fulfilment, safety and productivity.
  • Connecting with Quality, Planner and Suppliers to manage and collect First Piece and Special Process Qualification.
  • Working on NCR and SDR Resolution, proposing technical support to engineering, sourcing and MPE Department.
  • Developing tooling optimization, drawing of work piece placement and fix appropriate cut parameters in chip removal on Machine Tool.

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have basic knowledge in Manufacturing Machining Area
  • Have basic Knowledge of technical drawing and Machining technology (Machine tools, cutting tools and parameters...)
  • Have an understanding of Baker Hughes as a company and their products
  • Have experience with CAD/CAM Application and 3D Application as Unigraphics
  • Have good analytical, interpersonal skills and highly proficient in computer applications.
  • Have the ability to create a real and positive change in a team environment
  • Have proven oral and written communication skills
  • Have knowledge of English and Italian Language
