Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Principal Engineer - Rotating & Package Equipment with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry to be based out of Chennai, India location.
- Perform FEED and detailed design and engineering for O&G, Petro Chemical, Chemical and O&U projects
- Prepare equipment datasheets, technical specifications, purchase requisition, technical bid evaluation, technical clarifications, post award communications records
- Review and approve vendor documents
- Coordinate with clients
- Coordinate fabricators and interface discipline
Skills / Qualifications
- B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical) from reputed institution
- Industry Type - Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical / Oil & Gas (preferred)
- Experience in working with engineering consultancies and EPC companies for design & engineering of various types of Rotating and Package Equipments.
- Knowledge on relevant design codes like API, ASME etc and Client specifications
- Field / Shop experience on the Equipments related to O&G projects will be added advantage.
