Experience & Skills
? A minimum of 10 years in a Refinery/Automation environment and minimum of 5 years in leading/supervising technical personnel. ? Strong leadership and man-management skills. ? Thorough understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to lead moderate sized projects. ? Thorough understanding of all Refinery department needs in terms of information required for better running of the plant. ? Solid understanding of plant automation applications, networks and distributed computing concepts and protocols ? Solid knowledge of industrial automation and control system concepts, such as FIELDBUS, SCADA, DCS, HMI's, PLC's, OPC, and Data Historians. ? Strong inter-personal skills: capable of writing proposals, acting as vendor liaison and able to deliver technical information in formal presentations. ? Thorough understanding of IT/Automation technical standards, management practices and development methodologies.
