JustificationThe Lead Electrical Engineer - PC Board Design w orks in product development, design, sustaining, or R&D. Responsible for designs of PC Boards.
- Work within a team of experienced engineers to develop PCBA hardware or firmware for the purpose of making various sensor measurements in extreme environmental conditions.
- Strong interest in design and development of electronics.
- Intermediate electronics hardware design and the PCB component level.
- Capable of creating schematics in a Schematics capture package like Altium
- Generating BOMs and supplying technical input to a PCB layout designer to finalize layout.
- Familiar with the PCB manufacturing process to drive prototype and initial production unit build.
- Candidate should be well versed in general electronics lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, analyzers, power supplies etc.
Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience with hands on component level PCBA design.
- Able to demonstrate experience with analog circuit design and/or digital circuit design
- Firmware experience in C, assembly or VHDL is a plus.
