Take ownership for customer operations
As Field Process Engineer you will play a vital role onsite with our customers. You will be responsible for the preparation and technical guidance of the
commissioning, start up, initial operation and performance test of Baker Hughes Plant and Modules process technology solutions delivered to customers.
As a Field Process Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as technical interface during Commissioning & Start Up operations for Baker Hughes field service engineers, Installation Manager, commissioning manager and Project Engineers/ Project Technical Managers.
- Participating in basic/front end/detail design validation steps with BH design teams to assure it will include all the features necessary to ensure a safe and reliable commissioning and start up (CSU).
- Driving project's staff in outlining Commissioning & Start Up technical requirements and needs and establish the path forward to Commissioning & Start Up execution with BH commissioning manager (reviewing documentation involving commissioning interfaces, attending meeting with Customer, etc.)
- Leading, proposing, reviewing and approve the definition, selection and on time preparation of Commissioning & Start Up procedures, check lists, method statements, risk analyses, etc., and overview all design inputs affecting to different extents BH's liability and performances.
- Collaborating with BH and customer/EPC commissioning managers to define CSU goals and objectives and relevant detailed Commissioning & Start Up Division of responsibilities.
- Acting as main technical interface for BH/customer/EPC commissioning managers, as well as for BH's sub suppliers technical specialists, whenever requested to solve BH technology issues during Commissioning & Start Up operations - Be familiar and work with Commissioning & Start Up operations tools part of BH's non conformity management system (i.e. Service requests, technical clarification, red flag reviews).
- Being a key contributor and technical leader of the team in charge of the performance testing of BH technology, while interfacing with customer/EPC technical and operational experts (i.e. review and agree with the parties plant's steady state requirements and test success criteria)

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Master Degree (preferred qualification Chemical or Process Engineering)
- Adequate and satisfactory knowledge of BH turbo machinery, equipment and systems in order to integrate and understand the role played in BH's technology solutions.
- Have 5+ Years of experience in LNG, power generation, gas treatment or chemical processes design and commissioning, with proven capability to interact with interfaces from all engineering disciplines, but with main focus on process and control disciplines.
- Have preferably lived directly in situ as part of commissioning and start up of LNG/Power generation or chemical plants, within structured organizations.
- Be motivated and curious talent with leadership qualities and with good communication skills
- Have strong interpersonal and Team Management Skills - Contract & scheduling management skills
- Have Knowledge and familiarity of HSE rules
- Be fluent English (written & spoken)
- Be available to Travel (70% of time)
