Join our Digital Technology Team We operate at the heart of the digital transformation of our business. We are a IET Software Factory based in Florence, Italy. Our team is responsible for building and maintaining cloud application platforms that support the Baker Hughes IET business strategy.
Partner with the best As a part of this team you will be responsible for working on Cloud Applications backend development with Java Spring Boot and User Interface development with Angular Framework.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for: - Working on Cloud Application Backend development with Java Spring Boot, mainly REST/GraphQL API under OAuth / JWT
- Working on Cloud Application User Interface development with Angular Framework
- Integration with Backend through REST API under OAuth / JWT
- Working on Database data manipulation such as SQL query over table, views, JSON records, over Postgres/ElasticSearch/Pouch technologies.
- Automating Unit test with JUnit/Karma
- Being an active member of Dev Team within an Agile Scrumm methodology.
- Working on Continuous Integration and Delivery with Jenkins/GitHub Actions on AWS Cloud environment
- Working on defect management, troubleshooting and change management
- Following security guidelines to develop secure and compliant applications by working with Risk and Security teams.
To be successful in this role you will: - Have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or related field or at least 3 years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
- Have Experience using Java Spring Boot. Java Certifications are helpful.
- Have Experience using Angular.
- Have experience Deploying infrastructure through an automation pipeline.
- Have experience using Amazon Web Services console, CLI, APIs. AWS Certifications are especially helpful.
- Have expertise in design and software development best practices.
- Have good communication, Problem-solving skills, Collaboration, Influencing and articulation.
