JustificationThe Lead Scientist is r esponsible for activities aimed at proving a concept to be valid or technically feasible by the application of scientific and engineering methodologies.

- Connects the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business. Communicates across the function in area of expertise
- Ability to take ownership of technical category, including supporting the development, maintenance, and field support of an existing service.
- Work in this family typically has the objective of demonstrating through test or analyses the performance and implementation potential of a concept.
- Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function.
- Strong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical space.
- Ability to take ownership of technical category, including supporting the development, maintenance, and field support of an existing service.
Qualifications/Requirements: - Masters degree from an accredited university
- PhD Preferred degree
- Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Physics.
- 8 years' experience in Oil and Gas Industry
- Preferred candidate will have an advanced degree in engineering or physics, with particular expertise in developing commercial workflows for perforating systems.
