A solution is a business outcome that delivers measurable value to customers, also adapting the most suitable service and business models. The Solution Architect is the key player for the conceptualization of all CPS global projects pipeline.

As Solution Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with Sales/Originators and Commercial team to prequalify target opportunities, pitch client on CPS value proposition, and analyze client's needs and data.
  • Leveraging on internal and external stakeholders, compliant with CPS criteria, conceptualize the solution that best answer to the business and technical needs of clients.
  • Performing energy yield calculations evaluating potential performance improvements, multiple savings/revenues streams and financial metrics improvements, to evaluate the viability of the proposed solution under different business models.
  • Preparing preliminary estimates of project CapEx/OpEx costs and other key metrics for initial financial and business evaluation.
  • Identifying, recording, and mitigating initial project constraints, risks and upside opportunities in preparation for feasibility assessment.
  • Pitching the proposed solution to customer, working along commercial and sales team to draft the correct proposals, supporting negotiation until contract signature for development services such as Feasibility and FEED studies.
  • Deploying knowledge on the optimized solution to other teams involved in the execution of development activities, such as engineering, procurement, service, legal, and finance and commercial, clearly conveying design concepts, development planning, key metrics, and specific objectives to enable them to deliver correctly, and in line with the solution you conceptualized, their own contribution.
  • Supporting internal and external stakeholders by continuously evaluating project feasibility, identifying, and realigning internal and external inputs, gaps, and risks, throughout the development process.
  • Participating in meetings and presentations of clients, suppliers, and investment committees during the different phases.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have knowledge of clean power solutions like net power generation / geothermal/ hybrid microgrid. High exposure on Renewables and BESS is a strong plus.
  • Have understanding of the new electricity market paradigm by staying on the forefront of technology and of new services.
  • Have experience using design tools like Homer Pro, Homer Grid, Xendee, Helioscope, Thermoflow or software of similar.
  • Have experience of interacting with multiple engineering disciplines: Electric, I&C, Mech, Process, etc.
  • Have experience of performing bankable feasibility studies, preferably also in a back-to-back assessment among key technical, commercial, financial and risk metrics.
  • Have familiarity with project economics and basic financial concepts and calculations like LCoE, IRR, Payback period.
  • Have familiarity with EPC and O&M contracts as well as the main terms and conditions of contract such as Power Purchase Agreement, Energy as a Service etc.
  • Have good understanding of project development activities, if from origination till financial closure is a plus.
