GENERAL TECHNICIAN (ELECT)

Primary Purpose of Job
Perform general maintenance and repair activities (hands on) on all electrical equipment in the offshore installation in a safe and efficient manner; maximize productivity through the effective use of all available resources. Closely work with other colleagues in own and other departments to accomplish effective cross training.

Education
Minimum Education: This position requires a minimum post-secondary educational background of two years studies on technical electrical subjects for industrial applications.

Experience & Skills
Minimum Experience: • Minimum of five (5) years relevant hands-on experience in the Petrochemical Industry. • Complete QatarEnergy authorizations assessment process for Offshore Electrical personnel competency. • Make all efforts to improve competency gradually growing from CEP to AEP and SAEP subsequently. • Should be a team player and a self-starter with a strong desire to deliver superior results.
