Transportation Specialist

This position is responsible for the process of managing contracted and brokered loads dispatched via our North America (NAM) Logistics team. The focus of this role is transactional, to include but not limited to, facilitating product shipments, exchanges, and returns from order set-up through invoice requisition.

This position should ensure the smooth transportation of Veolia equipment in which third-party logistics providers are responsible for the shipments. Managing the individual bookings and shipments, communicating directly with our Logistics specialists, handling contracts, metrics, loading/updating reference data, addressing invoice issues, and working as the liaison between the NAM Logistics team and WTS Sourcing are among the higher priority duties.

The role will be Norfolk, VA based at our Norfolk Service Center. Flexible work arrangements are possible after demonstrating competency in role, however maintaining a presence in/near the logistics team working area is necessary.
