Key position functions include

  • Conduct all required inspections of material, subcomponents, finished and buy out items (Receiving).
  • Approve MTR documents prior/to receipt of products (requires a full working knowledge of applicable QCPs).
  • Handling non-conformances, and corrective/preventive actions as and when required.
  • Coordinating 3rd party inspectors on relevant projects in line with ITP/PO requirements.
  • Coordinating the maintenance and approval of work order process travelers (routings).
  • Maintain inspection department documents are properly controlled and traced.
  • Coordinate data book process in line with the customer requirements.
  • Coordinate Internal audits for SF-USA (All Depts. other than QC) and assist in external audits.
  • Assist in maintaining Quality Management System processes.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the QA Manual and Operational Procedures.
  • Be aware of all applicable company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
  • Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager

Preferred candidate will possess a combination of the following:

  • Coordinating experience in project handling & Quality Assurance Systems
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of QA/QC-related experience in manufacturing environment
