Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer student for the 2023 Fall Semester to work in our St. John's office. This individual will be eager to learn, highly motivated, and have excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:


  • Supporting our team of Project Engineers with planning, cost, materials & fabrication monitoring, Project Change Notices (PCN's), Variation Order's (VO's), Project Execution Plans (PEP's)
  • Writing reports, taking meeting minutes, filling documents, sending out meeting invites through Outlook
  • Additional administrative / research tasks maybe required


Skills / Qualifications




  • Enrolled in a post-secondary Engineering Degree Program
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English
  • Ability to interact with Multidiscipline personnel in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Subcontractors and Client representatives on project-related topics
  • Strong safety orientation
  • Team focused attitude
  • Proficient computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook
