Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer student for the 2023 Fall Semester to work in our St. John's office.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Supporting our team of Project Engineers with planning, cost, Project Change Notices (PCN's), Project Execution Plans (PEP's)
- Writing reports, taking meeting minutes, filling documents, sending out meeting invites through Outlook
- Additional administrative / research tasks maybe required
- Coordinates small teams; develops skills of leadership with support from team members
- Communicates with line managers highlighting issues and deficiencies
- Assists Engineers to deliver to schedule, fully understand reasons for delay and assist in developing recovery plans
- Alerts more senior project management personnel in the event of potential delays or change
Skills / Qualifications
- Enrolled in a post-secondary Engineering Degree Program
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English
- Ability to interact with Multidiscipline personnel in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Subcontractors and Client representatives on project-related topics
- Strong safety orientation
- Team focused attitude
- Proficient computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook
