BUDGETING & GROUP FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT REPORTING
Title
HEAD, INV MGMT REPORTING (PETCHEM/OTHER)
Primary Purpose of Job
Organize and verify the Downstream investment portfolios of QatarEnergy in order to safeguard QatarEnergy's interest and maximize profitability and dividends contribution in various Subsidiaries and Investments located in Qatar & Internationally.
Education
1. Bachelor Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance, from an accredited University. 2. Professional Qualification and Membership of a recognized professional body (such as ACA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferable.
Experience & Skills
1. Over 10 years of experience with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position including Investments Management, Management Accounting, Reporting, Budgeting and Planning functions preferably in Oil and Gas Industry. 2. Expertise in management accounting with good analytical skills and knowledge of financial models, business models and feasibility studies (Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, SWOT analysis, balance score card etc). 3. Expertise in financial accounting, due diligence and consolidation with good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards. 4. Good interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, communication, coordination, influence and presentation skills. 5. Good command of English language (verbal and written skills) and computer systems with expertise in Microsoft applications and good working experience in integrated database system is essential (SAP preferred). 6. Works with confidentiality, integrity and ethics; follows policies and procedures of the Corporation; proactive, innovative, improvising and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement. 7. Ability to work effectively in diverse, virtual and multi-cultural environments. Readily available to assimilate information and highly flexible in approach to adjust in changing environment.
