At Eni, we are looking for an All-round Financial Accountant within Eni Benelux in Rotterdam, Netherlands. You will be responsible for ensuring effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations are performed properly. Especially the day-to-day processing of incoming invoices, handling of payments and settlements, and manage relations with related parties and third parties. All in all, you play an important role in ensuring related administrative operations and that they are performed properly and according to the applicable accounting principles.

As a member of the CFO Team at Eni Benelux you will be responsible for:
- Handling of bank payments, receipts, and settlements.
- Controlling and updating creditor master data;
- Working in close collaboration with the relevant Sales representative(s) to maintain a good commercial relationship with existing customers but respecting agreements on payment terms and internal guidelines on customer creditworthiness.
- Proper accounting according to Dutch general accepted accounting principles;
- Keeping relations with Related parties and third parties;
- Communicating with the relevant departments as necessary to complete job duties;
- Proper fulfilment of all obligations required by fiscal authorities;
- Assisting to the FCA Manager and Coordinator FCA in financial/accounting and accounts payable related matters;
- Performing the day-to-day processing of incoming invoices;
- Registering and process incoming dunning letters and reminders;
- Archiving all incoming documents related to creditors;
- Reconciliation for intercompany balances and G/L related accounts;
- Assisting to the auditors (external/internal) for the AP administration;
- Following-up of open purchase orders and the G/L related accounts;
- Processing incoming invoices related to investments (costs and assets);
- Assuring the administration of payables according to the Company procedures, and report non-compliances by other departments, if any.
- Participate in (and/or lead) projects
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :
- Completed Accounting degree at MBO (Dutch system) or higher
- working experience in the field
- Sound knowledge of all MS-Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in working with ERP systems (SAP or similar) would be an advantage
- Language skills: Dutch mother-tongue and English at intermediate level. Italian language at intermediate is considered as a plus.
