Technical Sales Consultant provides technical support to sales representatives in a geographic area to assist sales efforts. The candidate is responsible for providing thought leadership as it pertains to the technical aspects of proposed software/services solutions for each individual customer. Analyze the customer environment, discover and diagnose a system or business problem. Create and conduct product & solution presentations to customers. Work with the customer and internal teams to create detailed workflow solutions. Develop relationships with customers and vendors to better understand customer needs and expand the reach of possible solutions. Functions as a liaison between the customer and the product development team to help drive product innovation and quality. Job role contributes directly to value creation via personal contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our software products and services
- Support E&P Well Construction, Real-Time and Analytics business development within Europe, by identifying new sales opportunities and proactively pursue them
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Assist in defining, positioning and marketing Well Construction and Real-Time solutions in the region.
- Prepare the technical presentations and the tender response during pre-qualification and tender submission phases in order to ensure that the proposed solution fully meet with technical targets and Halliburton standards.
- Prepare Technical proposals and solutions in order to ensure that it meet customer requirements.
- Responsible for development of cross-domain workflow using Real-Time and Analytical solutions
- Analyzing the applicability of new or innovative data processes and systems as a part of the overall well construction process.
- Participate in public Technology Days, Trade Shows and customer specific Lunch and Learns throughout the year, showcasing new functionality and key regional capabilities.
- Actively participate in highlighting innovation with White Papers and industry publications individually and co -authored material.
- Regular travel within Europe
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of Oil & Gas industry experience, preferably in the drilling domain.
- Minimum 2 years working experience with Landmark Drilling and Completion solution.
- Strong knowledge of drilling and completions processes
- Understanding of Data types and (real-time, relational) their uses and value
- Be a team player with good communication skills
- Be creative and innovative problem solver - thinks conceptually and 'out of the box'.
- Achievement-oriented - focuses on delivering results.
- Keen to learn about new technologies, especially around digital and sustainability
