At Eni, we are looking for a Planning Section Head within Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. in Aksay, Kazakhstan. You will be responsible for supervising and maintaining an advanced professional planning function for the work performed by the Project Execution Directorate (FED) during all project stages.

As a member of the development project services at Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. you will be responsible for :
  • Defining, implementing, and maintaining KPO's project planning & scheduling best practices through standards, procedures, and guidelines. Provide expert guidance on strategic and more detailed planning issues across the portfolio as the KPO Technical Authority (TA) for project Planning.
  • Managing and leading the Planning & Scheduling review effort on KPOs Value Assurance process and associated functional reviews. Facilitate schedule risk reviews at key stage gates and ensure that schedule risks are identified together with mitigating actions.
  • Developing a companywide program overview of KPO's key capital projects and monitor performance against approved baselines.
  • Providing guidance to and assist Project teams in the development of fit-for-purpose plans and schedules.
  • Working with project teams to ensure project controls teams on projects are adequately resourced, trained and equipped with the right tools to deliver robust decision support project management information.

  • Supervising, planning, and directing the job duties carried out by the Planning Team to ensure that FED
  • projects related key performance indicators are met. Monitor the daily work to establish realistic committed target dates and provide feedback to related disciplines.
  • Developing and maintaining projects work breakdown structure in liaison with cost engineering section, master schedules, and different levels schedules for any size of projects integrating all projects objectives, milestones, and client requirements. Ensure that inherent risks to the plans and schedules on all projects are identified and understood.
  • Supervising development, update, and maintenance of detailed plans for all Capital Projects to include all phases of the work. Liaise with FED Managers to ensure that the planning process accurately reflects the work scopes and their requirements.
  • Monitoring/ Controlling of the schedule progress reports, S-Curves, schedule analysis, and what if scenario. Checking the records of scope changes and variances that potentially affect schedule performance. Maintain the baseline change control authorization process.
  • Managing implementation and control detailed progress measurement processes for Capital Projects.
  • Supervising reporting of planned and actual progress status, analysis and advise corrective actions to be taken.
  • Leading on updating accurate schedule progress towards achieving the project completion date and information the project management team of changes to schedule outcome.
  • Leading development and analysis of the project schedules, SRA software implementation, time impact and delay analysis, and review of periodic schedule updates.
  • Establishing and maintaining activity level integration between P6 and project management reporting tool
  • Responsible for the preparation, progressing, reporting and performance analysis of detailed schedules for Capital Assets, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning including new work and shutdown related activities. Recommend improvements and modifications where necessary.
  • Providing planning expertise and support service throughout all levels of the PED organization.
