Responsibilities The Public Relations Officer role contributes to strategic planning and directs engagement objectives to develop and maintain productive relations with all levels of government authorities in Thailand that will support and enhance the businesses' goals. This role will cover several responsibilities including key stakeholder engagement (external and internal cross function), coordinate and ensure a consistent message at various touch points, keep abreast of developing regulatory landscape, anticipate new risks/ opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities - Be a key focal point for Public Relations and Government affairs.
- Continuous monitoring and analysis of proposed legislation, emerging issues and trends to determine the potential impact to our business.
- Engage and collaborate with stakeholders of varying levels internally and externally to ensure compliance or highlight issues to management.
- Actively keep abreast of developing regulatory landscape and anticipate new risk and opportunities.
- Support marketing activities by building relationships with industry groups and organizations.
Qualifications Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (BA, BSc) in public policy, engineering, business or equivalent. Masters preferred but not essential.
- 5+ years of government affairs/public relations experience.
- Experience of dealing with regulatory authorities in Thailand, such as DMF and MoE.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Public relations / Communications / Government affairs
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Sound knowledge of the energy industry
- Exceptional communication skills (English and Thai)
