Our HR Technology team provides intelligent, connected technologies to enable all Baker Hughes Product companies. Our team creates business value through continuous improvement in reliability, resiliency, and performance in support and service offerings.

Partner with the best

You will be the liaison between the relevant stakeholders and Time & Absence configuration analysts to translate business requirements into system configuration. You will help gather requirements, develop project plans, job aids, training content and communications for users to refer to while using the system. You will collaborate with the other members of the Digital HR and DT teams to create end-to-end solutions that meet workforce and enterprise needs. This position plays a critical role of optimizing how we use our Time & Absence systems to exceed our user expectations and drive business outcomes.

As a Digital HR Time & Absence Product Owner, you will be responsible for:
  • Firm understanding in HR Time & Absence systems, Workday and other HR technologies.
  • Actively communicate with HR leaders to understand the latest business objectives and translate them to system requirements.
  • Develop & drive roadmap for time and absence systems including define, design and execution.
  • Leverage human-centered solution design to identify personas, user stories, and prototypes to understand how technology changes will enable processes and drive behavior.
  • Cr eate business requirement documents, detailed functional configuration documents, test plans, and test cases, user training documents, and implementation documentation as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Technology team on identifying and resolving system inefficiencies and defects.
  • Provide oversight and support for other systems as required (i.e. Equifax-TALX)


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Information Technology with at least 3 years of using HR systems (Workday, Alfresco, DocuSign, etc.). Equivalent combination of education and work experience is also considered.
  • Balance of technical and business acumen. Ability to translate business requirements to system configuration.
  • Translate technical terms to real-life stories - able to communicate with both technical teams and business functional leaders.
  • Experience in driving HR Transformation with a focus on how people, process and technology intersect to drive change.
  • Experience in supporting HR Systems Workday (Core, Recruiting, Security, etc.) as well
