Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently recruiting for an Engineer - Quality Assuarance with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical, Power and Hydrocarbon industry.
The job would typically be QA support in Project and would include the following activities:
- Responsible for implementation of Quality Management System requirements as directed by the Manager-QA when assigned to projects
- Identify, in consultation with Project functional groups, the systems and procedures that define the Project Quality Management System and prepare the Project Quality Plan accordingly for approval by the Project Manager and the Manager - QA
- Manage QA activities on the assigned project Monitor the implementation of the Project Quality Management System through regular scheduled audits and by review of project documentation on a sample basis
- Monitor the effectiveness of the Quality System by conducting audits in accordance with the Corporate or Project Quality System Audit Schedule as appropriate
- Provide technical and administrative supervision of any assigned Quality Assurance Engineers
- Assess Contractors and Suppliers Quality Management Systems, as required
- Be responsible, for the implementation of Continuous Improvement activities on the project
- Be responsible, for the implementation of TQM in projects
- Support Manager - QA in proposals, as required
Skills / Qualifications - Degree in an Engineering Discipline / Quality
- Demonstrable qualification on Quality Assurance. Example., Lead Assessor certification in ISO 9001:2015 from a reputed company
- Minimum 4 to 8 years
