Completion Operational Supervisor
Summary Our Client's Offshore Wind Division has been selected to install wind turbines for a project off the coast of New England during the year 2023. To ensure the conformity and quality of the Onshore Completion Items (Escaping Defects), they require a
Completion Operational Supervisor to support the In-place Supervisor for a duration of 6 Months, from June to December of 2023.
Services Provided
Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the site teams assigned to you
- Completion teams will work on different activities which can be electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or painting works
Lead by example on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) behavior
Supervize the onshore Completion Teams working on the 62 wind turbines sub-assemblies stored at hub
Be the focal point with the In-Place Completion Supervisor for all the Completion Activities executed by Completion Teams
Plan the weekly-Daily Work with the Support of Completion Planner
Support the development of all RAMS if support is requested Toolbox talks and other meetings are held prior to start of any operations
Safe job analyses are held prior to start of any new operations
Ensure that all workers are working in safe condition and ensure no Simultaneous operations at Risks
Ensure the good reporting of evidence for Completion Item Closure Verify that the work tasks are performed safely and in accordance with the approved procedure(s)
Lead the Completion Teams and Completion Suppliers assigned to you, with the support of In-Place Completion Operational Supervisor
Ensure the good training of technicians working on site
Compare Planned and Completed Activities, ensure a good reliability on the work executed
Deliverables Share performances and any delays Teams deployed point of contact
Perform Toolbox talks - team briefing
Validate time spent by Supplier - Inform Completion Manager if any disagreement with Supplier
Make good handover with In-Place Completion Operational Supervisor
Report any Risks for the project Report any EHS deviation
Additional Information
Required Skills:
- Proven experience on project management
- Strongly organized, methodological and practical in data recording and document management
- Excellent ability to communicate at all level, English speaker
- Technical skills on Microsoft Office/ Computer skills
- Ability to work out a balanced solution between different stakeholders
Mandatory Normal PPE:
- Helmet with chin strap, approved for electrical environment , CE, EN 397, EN 50365,
- Safety Glasses class 1
- Safety Shoes S3 with non-conductive protective toes cap EN ISO 2034
- Gloves (Depending on type of tasks)
- Harness (example of VOLT harness from PETZL)
- High Visibility Jackets
- Arc flash high visibility clothing (mandatory for any electrical work or work within electrical environment
- Trouser (with possibility to insert knee protector)
- Long-sleeves T-shirt,
- Jackets (rain/water proof jacket, winter jackets, softshell),
- Sweatshirt (no hoodies)
- Base layer (Top and legging)
- Arc flash PPE to be complaint IEC 61482-2: 2009 , minimum cat. 1 EN11612 with company logo
Mandatory Work at height PPE:
- Full body safety harness (preferabbly Petzl Volt, Petzl Avao, Skyotec Ignite Proton ) , 1x per personv
- Twin Y lanyard with shoc absorber, 2m. max. , 1x per person
- Work positioning lanyard, 2m. max. , 1x per person
- Fall Arrester Hailo Partner H-50.2 , 1x per person
- Karabiner triple lock
- portable tool tethering lines
Minimum Mandatory training for Onshore - EHS Training mandatory:
- GWO - Work at Height
- GWO - Fire Awareness
- GWO - Manual Handling
- GWO - First Aid
- Advanced Electrical Safety (NFPA 70e Compliant) for US
Recommended Skills:
- Experience in Wind projects site construction, with multinational team and subcontractor workforce
