Our Team is assembling and testing the latest drilling equipment products, which is the beating heart of our work. We collaborate with our service delivery teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative drilling tools.

Partner with the best

As an AMO Electronic Technician, you'll troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and perform visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies. You'll Assist in reworking, repairing, and modifying non-conforming equipment. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to provide the best service delivery to clients, and you'll comply with HS&E policies and procedures.

As an AMO Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing pre-job checks and basic onsite maintenance to ensure safety and reliability of equipment
  • Soldering and assembling electro-mechanical devices.
  • Operating and troubleshooting electronic measuring devices to ensure reliability, safety, and delivery
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists, and following procedures and maintenance practices
  • Using electronic/electrical instrumentation measurement equipment
  • Following and maintaining Well-Site records and communications to ensure compliance and regulations are followed
  • Providing coaching to the other technicians in areas of proven competence
  • Performing in compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will:
  • Have a technical diploma or 5 years of relevant experience
  • Have experience servicing and maintaining electronic & electrical equipment
  • Be proficient using multimeters, megohm meters, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.
  • Be knowledgeable in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits, and electro-mechanical devices
  • Have maintenance-related experience in electro-mechanical/instrumentation function
  • Experience in Hazardous Area Electronic/Electrical Equipment
