to be based in Hopkins, MN on a hybrid schedule.
JOB SUMMARY Our
Electrical Engineer will work remotely for our Midwest Division and can be located in Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa or Minnesota. As an Electrical Engineer you will work directly with project team members and be responsible for the development, creation, and design of a building's electrical systems.
Electrical Engineer Responsibilities- Perform analysis, design and documentation of building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting design, fire alarm, security, audio/visual and telecommunications systems
- Independently provide the full range of electrical engineering services on small to medium-sized projects
- Revise, review, and coordinate construction documents
- Mentor and train junior level staff
- Develop solutions to challenging electrical power distribution and lighting systems with architecture and engineering project design teams
Electrical Engineer Qualifications- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as an electrical engineer designing electrical power distribution and lighting systems for new and renovated buildings
- LEED AP preferred
- Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite software
- Active Professional Engineering (PE) license
