As a Procurement Specialist you are expected to manage basic Contracting & Procurement processes and systems and support internal stakeholders in fulfilling standard and non-standard operational requirements with limited interface with external stakeholders (suppliers).

Dimensions:
  • Manage activities connected with portfolio of Operational Contracts in Lubricants' production area (aggregated contract risk low and med) in line with contract segmentation guidelines and principles.
  • Purchase of Direct and Indirect purchases related to Shell asset's maintenance (e.g. Production plants) and production process (Categories: Packaging, Logistics, Additives, Finish Lubes)


Principal Accountabilities:
  • Work with various customers and stakeholders
  • Contracting and procuring services as well as developing and managing local agreements under the direction of the Local Procurement Lead and Global Category Manager as appropriate
  • Scoping local projects, and analyzing CP business requirements and external market dynamics
  • Applying leading edge supply chain management techniques
  • Execute Contract Management process for assigned operational contracts
  • Ensure all commercial activity is fully aligned with the Global Category
  • Manage one-off Purchase Orders - Reduce/rationalize number of Contracts/Suppliers
  • Deliver end-to-end cost savings or other value added to organization


Requirements:
  • Proficiency in English is a must
  • Business proficiency in Italian or French
  • Basic commercial sense and understanding of procurement
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in Supply Chain/ Contracting & Procurement
  • Practical basic knowledge of Contracting
  • Business Partnering skills
  • Ability to work on numerous fronts across several initiatives
  • Analytical, Continuous Improvement and digital mindset
  • Knowledge of SAP, Ariba or other procurement platforms
  • Learner mindset and eagerness to grow in the Contracting & Procurement area
  • Organized and able to manage competing priorities team player
  • Supply Chain or Economic background would be a value added
