Nous recherchons un ingenieur en electronique de puissance pour rejoindre notre equipe. Dans ce role, vous serez responsable du developpement et de l'amelioration de nos convertisseurs de puissances de hautes technologies. Vous travaillerez en etroite collaboration avec notre equipe hardware et software pour assurer le developpement de produits performants.

Responsabilties:
  • Concevoir et mettre en oeuvre des convertisseurs de puissance de haute technologies dans l'ordre de 4 kW a 200 kW
  • Concevoir des architectures et des circuits electroniques de puissance ainsi que leurs algorithmes de controle
  • Selectionner les composantes de puissance tel que MOSFETS, IGBT, SiC ainsi que les composantes magnetiques
  • Etudier et simuler les algorithmes de control et circuits de puissance en utilisant Matlab/Simulink et autres outils tel que LTSpice
  • Developper de prototypes afin de valider la conception
  • Collaborer avec l'equipe logiciel embarque ainsi que electronique sur le developpement et verification du produits
  • Preparer la documentation de conception, procedure de test, et documents de specifications du produit

Qualifications:
  • Diplome universitaire en genie electronique de puissance niveau Maitrise ou PhD
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'experience en electroniques de puissance et algorithmes de control
  • Experience en electronique de puissance dans le milieu industriel
  • Experience avec la conceptions de convertisseur de puissance
  • Etre professionnel avec capacite de s'adapter a differents environnements
  • Grande capacite d'analyse et d'interpretation de resultats
  • Bonne communication en francais et anglais

We are looking for a highly motivated Power Electronics Engineer to work on the next generation of high-tech power converters/inverters. You will work collaboratively with our Hardware and Software team to ensure the development of high-performance products.

As Power Electronics Engineer, your main responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
  • Responsible for the design, development, and testing of high-tech power converters in the 4kW to 200kW power range
  • Design power electronics architectures and control loop algorithms
  • Design and select components (MOSFETS, IGBT, SiC, magnetics, etc.) for AC/DC/AC converters with variable frequency output
  • Design, model, and simulate control loops and power circuits using simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, and other tools (LTSpice, etc.)
  • Develop prototypes to mitigate key development risks
  • Work closely with firmware & hardware designers on product development
  • Generate engineering documentation in support of design activities and customer requirements, including specifications, test procedures and reports, failure reports, and design analysis

What you require to be successful in the role:
  • Possession of a Master's, or PhD in power electronics engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in power electronics circuits and control design
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience designing control loops and applications with Matlab/Simulink
  • Demonstrated application of electronic theory, principles of electrical circuits, testing procedures and related knowledge to construct and debug power electronics circuitry in relation to the design of power conversion equipment
  • Strong ability to analyze, record, and interpret test data to determine product acceptability
  • Experience with international regulatory and product safety standards
  • Good communication skills in both English and French
