Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to attend site trips in the Edmonton area.
  • Communication with clients
  • Lead small projects.
  • Create and develop 3D model using S3D.
  • Create moderate to complex Layout of areas and modules.
  • Modeling large equipment
  • Reviewing and comment on vendor information
  • Adhere to industry codes and standards.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Engineering design and drafting technology diploma or related technical diploma or certificate.
  • 10+ years of experience in piping design and layout experience
  • Extensive experience working with specific codes and standard practices in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, SmartPlant S3D.
  • Previously project experience in Upstream Oil Sands is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confortable meeting with clients.
  • Strong verbal skills.
  • Work in Edmonton / Leduc Office.
