Integrated Planning Leader - Integrated Well Solutions

Join our growing Integrated Well Solutions Team

As our Integrated Solutions Planning Leader you will act as the accountable individual for planning tasks within your cluster of rigs. You will act as the direct contact with the client for all technical planning related matters. You will be responsible for maintaining the schedule and resource requirements for all planning efforts, controlling the activities within the cluster as well as directing the resources to those activities.

As our Integrated Solutions Planning Leader you will also be responsible for:

  • Forecasting planning requirements for upcoming wells; reports requirements into Well Engineering Manager should elevation be required.
  • Maintaining Planning Centre schedule / requirement lookahead based on common understanding between themselves and Client planning cluster leader.
  • Aligning with product liner coordinators and managers on revenue forecasts for future well activity to aid in financial forecasts.
  • Providing long-range steering and direction to Planning Centre within their cluster.
  • Directing activity within their planning cluster and ensuring the resources assigned to their wells are used productively. Provides the barrier to technical resources against both client and internal stakeholders.
  • Directs traffic within their cluster and controls the engagement between Operations Centre and Planning Centre, including during MOC/re-plans handed back from the Operations Centre.
  • Regular cadence touchpoint with Onshore Services Manager to ensure handover, support, feedback and learnings from OC back to PC
  • Regular alignment with client Task Leaders (Well Maturation, Main Well Planning and Pre-Execution) on planning schedule so that resources may be appropriately assigned.
  • Liaise internally with SDTMs/Well Engineering Manager for technical support, resource allocation and prioritization.

 


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in an oil and gas related subject
  • Operator experience as a drilling engineer or as a drilling engineer for a turnkey project
  • Several years of experience in Customer Project Support
  • Experience working in integrated projects in a central engineering role.
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders including customer planning VPs, planning leaders, contracts leaders, and individual engineers
  • Ability to prioritize multiple rig string's planning requirements from a technical and resource perspective
  • Comfortable and experienced with interacting with customer contract's team
  • Solutions oriented with a goal to find win-win solutions between our clients and ourselves
  • Willing to challenge our customers with Baker Hughes' best interest in mind
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrable interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to analyse and resolve problem and lead programs / projects
