This role supports manufacturing operations in a specific manufacturing area within the business to ensure production needs are met.
As an Assembler, you will be responsible for:
- Performing component assembly of circuit boards, wiring harnesses, connectors, and chassis wiring.
- Mounting and soldering components
- Assembling components per bill of material requirements
- Performing functional testing on assemblies
- Testing assemblies per customer and/or division criteria
- Operating test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.
- Preparing assemblies for shipment.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a 2-year technical degree or related experience as an assembler
- Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Be able to read and follow drawings, schematics, and procedures
- Have soldering and crimping knowledge
- Have e ffective teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
- Have experience with testing electrical and electronic parts
