Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting a Modifications Delivery Lead to support the execution of modification projects within the Engineering Hub in Aberdeen.

The successful candidate will manage all modifications as an individual contributor that manages specific allocated work packages and contributes to the successfully delivery of modifications.

Accountabilities:

  • Health, safety, environmental and quality performance on modifications
  • Role Model for personal safety leadership and ensure all personnel are performing to the correct company expectations
  • Manage the leading and lagging KPI's for modification delivery
  • Manage Continuous Improvement Initiatives on modification delivery
  • Ensure there is visibility on the live status of all modification projects
  • Manage regular progress meetings with both onshore and offshore
  • Regular visits offshore and the onshore terminal
  • Manages stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence
  • Identifies and manages risks, plans, and implements mitigation responses.
  • Manages modification documents of scope, schedule, resource requirements, budgets, risks, opportunities and issues, and quality requirements
  • Ensure all scopes are compliant with Integrated Activity Planning (IAP) Gates
  • All scopes are visible in the Asset Plan and ensure attendance at all Planning Meetings
  • Ensure all scopes are prepared and managed at work order level through SAP
  • Manage the modification schedules, taking account of dependencies and resources
  • Mange efficient on-site tool times and resolve any issues that impact the daily target
  • Manage the efficient control of the budget spend across all modifications
  • Manage the coordination and the control of costs of third-party vendors
  • Ensure compliance to the Management of Change Process
  • Understand and ensure compliance with appropriate technical standards and specifications are met and adhered to
  • Close liaison with EA2's and TAs to ensure all Technical Queries have been closed


Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications/Competencies:

  • HNC and/ or Strong industry experience in a similar role
  • Sufficient knowledge and experience of working within and supervising a multi-disciplined team.
  • Good organisational skills, anticipates problems and identifies solutions.
  • Adhere to the Spirit-Energy values, not only focusing on achieving the tasks and objectives, but also delivering in the Spirit Way.
  • Proactively drives progress and demonstrates responsibility for performance.
  • Proven relationship-builder across various disciplines and functions.

Experience:

  • Significant experience of working within the Oil and Gas industry
  • Demonstrable experience dealing with the safe and efficient execution of project/modifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential
