Wood Process & Energy is recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a background in process engineering to support delivery of engineering excellence in their assigned project(s). Senior Project Engineer, Process - Pharmaceutical, Barnard Castle
Wood Process & Energy is recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a background in process engineering to support delivery of engineering excellence in their assigned project(s). They will be required to coordinate and deliver the engineering for an assigned project scope to a schedule and in accordance with applicable procedures, specifications and standards.
Job Purpose:
- Supply process engineering support for Site Capitals projects to the agreed scope of works, timescale and cost
- Responsible for co-ordinating all relevant activities from implementation to handover to the client (unless other responsibilities are defined and agreed with the Project Management and Lead Process Engineer, prior, to the implementation of the project)
- Focus effort to ensuring maximum benefit to the organisation. Initiate and support cross-business learning, collaboration and teamwork.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work within a number of multi-disciplined projects
- Demonstrate leadership when required, i.e. lead minor projects
- Follow site Project Management process
- Work with client and project team members to develop proposals
- Ensure the client and site specifications are complied with
- Plan, organise and control works
- Control and manage costs
- Appraise engineering proposals
- Management of internal resource and external contractor
- Ensure safe working practices are employed at all times, including CDM
- Produce a high-quality product or output
- Handover to the client a project as agreed
- Make timely decisions
Skills / Qualifications
- Experience in working in regulated environment and application of GMP, GDP and ALCOA
- Proactive nature to help drive projects forward taking accountability and communicating with client teams to drive delivery
- Be flexible to ensure focus and support on clients priorities whilst managing good project controls
