Learning and Development Specialist

Education Qualification Required: bachelor's degree in human resources, Adult Education, Business Administration, or similar field.
Educational Qualification Preferred: Postgraduate qualification in HR Development, Adult Education, Instructional Design, or similar.

Work Experience Required: Minimum 7 years post-qualification relevant experience in Learning and Development. This must include Administrator experience with Learning Management technology (LMS), preferably SAP Success Factor, and Learner Experience Platforms (LxPs), e.g., LinkedIn Learning, Degreed, Coursera, Udemy, Cornerstone etc.
Preferred: Experience in Oil and Gas in similar roles. Other attributes:
High level of self-awareness (EQ), social and cultural intelligence.
Personable, with an ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience working with senior and demanding stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences.
Excellent Organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines despite challenges and setbacks.
Numerical accuracy and keen attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite- strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Ability to apply appropriate discretion and judgement when handling sensitive or confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
Plans and co-ordinates needs analyses processes.
Provides first- level guidance to employees and line managers on learning solutions to address competency development requirements, both within the context of performance improvement contexts and further development and progression.
Provides external coordination and collaboration with partners and service providers to fulfil company-wide and department-specific training plans, with due regard for costs and budgets, schedules, and timeframes.
Collaborates with partners to provide a schedule of programs that address company's priority target areas whilst offering timely solutions to all employee's needs.
Responsible for the efficient and professional activation of Programmers and Learning Solutions.
Responsible for administering and analyzing post-programmer feedback from participants and/or line managers of participants and/or vendors and facilitators.
Participates in learning design and development activities to address competency requirements of the workforce.
Participates in the delivery of training and development programs using various learning methods and delivery channels.
Responsible for convening and documenting outcomes of post­ programmer After-Action reviews for the purpose of continuous learning delivery improvement and enhancement.
Contributes to the development of tools and templates where required, and to the ongoing improvement of existing tools and templates.
