Overview / Responsibilities Wood has immediate openings for Senior Structural Integrity Engineers experienced in "Advance Structural Analysis" and "Structural Integrity Management (SIM)" to join our team in Perth.
We currently have various SIM projects for clients in Oil / Gas and Mining industries hence are seeking skilled engineers with solid background in Offshore Structures, Near-Shore Marine Structures and / or Onshore & Mining Structures.
This is a sensational opportunity for an experienced structural engineer with a keen interest in Integrity Management to continue to develop their professional and technical skills and make an impact from day one within a supportive team.
Our successful candidate will provide consulting and engineering by understanding clients' needs and providing fit for purpose solutions while balancing integrity, performance and cost. After initial Company inductions and training, our selected candidate will quickly be involved in a variety of tasks.

Senior Offshore Structural Engineer requirements: - A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Naval Architecture from an accredited University. Masters or PhD degrees will be an added advantage
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in design and assessment of Fixed Offshore Platforms and Floating System (Jacket, FPSO, FSO, Semi-submersible, etc.)
- Analysis skills in SACS, SESAM and USFOS
- Knowledge of FEA software such as ANSYS and ABAQUS will be an added advantage
- Experience in structural design and assessments as per international codes and standards such as API, ISO, DNV, AISC
Senior Marine / Onshore Structural Engineer requirements: - A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Naval Architecture from an accredited University. Masters or PhD degrees will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Near-Shore Marine and Onshore Structures. Experience in Mining industry will be an added advantage
- Solid background in design and assessment of Steel & Concrete structures and foundations (including pile and mat foundations)
- Analysis skills in StaadPro and Spacegass
- Experience in structural design and assessments as per Australian Standards (AS codes) as well other applicable standards in the industry such as AISC, ACI
Senior Structural Integrity Engineer requirements: - A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Naval Architecture from an accredited University. Masters or PhD degrees will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the field of Structural Integrity Management
- Knowledge of risk assessment and RBI development
- Experienced in development of integrity management plans and strategies
- Knowledge of structural inspection techniques
- Development of structural inspection plans and inspection work instructions
- Review of structural anomalies and anomaly management
- Structural Integrity Data Management
