Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently seeking a Project Adminstrative Assistant to support our engineering project management team in Mexico City. A great opportunity if interested in a career in administration and project management.

The Project Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing normal clerical services for the project team. Duties include:
  • Set up and maintain the project filing system
  • Coordinate administrative services for the project
  • Assign numbers and maintain logs for project correspondence
  • Administrate and update the project distribution list
  • Develop and coordinate all correspondence within the project team
  • Prepare the project file records for storage
  • Schedule conference rooms for meetings
  • Schedule flights and reservations
  • Prepare quality dossier

Skills / Qualifications

  • Recent grauduate from a administration / engineering bachelors degree or equivalent related
  • Preferably up to 1 year project management or administrative support experience working in a fast-paced, multitasking
  • environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Outlook and Excel required
  • Organized self-starter, detail oriented, proactive individual who takes ownership of a project
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills in both english and spanish
  • Demonstrated ability to work in team situations with multiple priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment
  • Able to lift 30 lbs. without painful stress or injury
  • Able to sit for long periods of time without painful stress or injury
  • Previous experience working at an engineering, construction or architectural firm a plus
  • Must be able to work 8:00-18:00 Monday - Friday
