We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer for our client who is in the chemicals industry. This position is for 12 months with a possibility to extend and located in Rotterdam.
Job description- As a Senior Process Engineer you will be responsible from diversified responsibilities. Focus area is to give input to projects based on process engineering knowledge and/or you lead as a project manager during the frond-end-loading phase within multidisciplinary teams. Develop projects to fill the Long Range Plan (LRP) for a more reliable and efficient future.
- Analyzing complex issues and advising integral solutions is not something you have to do all alone. You work closely together with global R&D and corporate engineers and business. You have the responsibility to judge potential projects on feasibility and make proposals to management. In order to be a reliable advisor, you need to analyze the data of production and systems, set up models of optimization and develop plans or the future.
Based on our Global Operational Excellence models, you're able to set and review standards and guidelines to reach the ultimate production process improvements.
Job requirements You feel comfortable in a manufacturing environment where you embrace engineering process improvement. You are good at communicating on all levels within the organization. As an independent specialist, you are not afraid to deal with resistance and you excel in convincing others. With your critical mindset and catching vision, you're able to drive change.
- A Master's degree in chemical engineering;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a comparable field of work;
- Experienced with working in an engineering as well as manufacturing environment;
- Fluent English and Dutch.
