Overview / Responsibilities Wood has an opportunity for a
Senior Project Controls Engineer in our Singapore office. In this role you will provide a complete planning service to the project management team that has proven expertise in managing large, complex projects with a global reach. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in either the downstream oil and gas, refining, petrochemicals, on both grass-root and brownfield scenarios.
The right candidate will understand all relevant documentation pertaining to the project including scope of services, conditions of contract, project execution, project schedule etc.
Overview / Responsibilities - Produce, where necessary, project procedures ensuring these are reflecting the Client needs and standards.
- Prepare and issue project action reports (monthly) to Project Manager
- Interface with Client Management Team
- Maintain accurate schedule and control curves in an updated condition and prepare forecasts of trends
- Responsible for formulating manpower and man hour estimates for proposals or any other future work
- Master Earned Value techniques
- Provide and maintain planning and scheduling statistics derived from completed projects
Skills / Qualifications Skills / Qualifications: - Engineering Degree or equivalent
- At least 10 years of working experience and at least 5 years of experience in the role
- A pro-active approach to solving problems and getting the job done
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Primavera P6 and spreadsheets, with database capability is mandatory
- knowledge of 4D planning and AWP is considered and advantage
- Proven experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases
